this ass thought 5+1=7 on the first day. He looks like the count from sesame street and has no sense of knowledge. The guy had the nerve to forget when our final was and email us telling us we had to come back to take him. The only good part of the class was him wiping off the dry erase board and then wiping his hands on his face making him the only teacher ever to wear warpaint at uww

I was apparently in the same class as the first reviewer, because on the day of my math final, Dr. Felcyn failed to show up. He then proceeded to Email us telling us that we had to come back and take the test after the exam time. WORST.TEACHER.EVER.

Big Mistake pushing out Prof. Marnocha. Someone needs to knock some sense into his head. Well, what can you expect from a teacher that can't even come close to relating to his students.

Bottom line, to master mathematics, you must completely UNDERSTAND it. This is why I understand why he's doing proofs, to show you it's not just a silly equation on the board. He's a good teacher overall, but his classes can get boring. He doesn't involve people, or relate math to everything things, which did make his class boring. If you take his class, I recommend teaching yourself, because he only does examples in the book. I do like the fact that he uses homework problems as questions for the tests, which made it a lot easier. He offers extra credit plus curves your grade, which would probably help you a lot.

Doesn't make sense in class. I would be better off teaching myself the subject matter...
