Dr. Chung was a child prodigy in South Korea, so when she corrects people it is done more harshly than most music professors. I think because she just "got" things right away while most of us need time and lots of repetition to learn or change something-it's not like she's crabby or anything. That being said she does point out the positive things you're doing in every lesson. She is very accommodating schedule-wise, and is SUPER devoted to her job. And she gives one HECK of a recital! If you ever get the chance to see her perform, GO. it's fascinating to watch and very inspiring!

Great for applied lessons...unless she's hungry. Rescheduled my lesson because she was....hungry. Funny funny dr. chung. No seriously, I really like her, just make sure to bring an apple or something for her to munch on while you're there.
