Ram Iyer

He is one of the worst professors I have ever had. So bad the whole class actually started a petition to be sent to the heads of the department. He does not explain things well, grades unfairly, and even when you get definitions from the book exactly he marks it wrong. Then there is a long line after every class with students argueing with him about how their answers were right but marked wrong. EVERY CLASS. Two students can have the same answer and one of them will be marked wrong. He grades participation unfairly by giving out fake money every time you answer a question, but will give people large bills for a mediocre answer, and it's a competition among the class. A fine idea, but ends out very unfair. Once again, he is THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD! I didn't learn a thing.

I had Ram for Management 211. It is alot of work, but he is willing to help you with anything if you put the effort in and go to his office. He's a great guy, and if you want to learn...take his class. I got an A.

Ram("Rom") is a horrid horrid professor. He is inflexible, and will never admit when he has made a mistake. It is ALWAYS your fault. Make sure to keep copies of EVERY SINGLE ASSIGNMENT that you do. He doesn't hand half of them back because he loses them, and then does not give you credit. In fact, hand in 3 copies each time, lord help him if he loses all 3. Be prepared to argue your grade at the end of the semester, but he will lie to you about who the department head is so you cant rat him out. The department phone # is 262 472 3964. Complain about him early and often if you are stuck in the class.

Do not take this course to learn how to use MS Office components and to be exempt from the applications test. You barely cover Excel and Access and apparently the test is easier. If you do take this class and make it through with a satisfactory grade, you can probably do anything. His expectations are high and a lot of effort is required if you want to do well. As easy as he tries to make them, quizzes are still very challenging. Case study reports are graded more on grammer than content, and it is rare to get full points (out of 10). The final group project was left almost entirely up to us to figure out (with it being project matter never discuessed as part of the class's material). I ended up doing very well but did put more effort into this class than i think i did for any other class during a semester of stats, econ and accounting. It is possible to do well, but it takes a lot of effort on your part. The class was mostly a test of endurance for me, if i could do well in it i could probably do well in any.

I did not learn one solitary thing in Ram's class other than to make it my mission that no one else suffers through his class. Tell everyone you know to boycot his classes if he makes it back next year. It is not possible to give Ram any other grade than "F". He has no clear objectives and never grades in whole points (for example, you will end up with a 5.2/10 instead of a 6/10) and he never explains how or why those .2 points are added or why .8 were deducted. Just a little mystery. He never grades assignments in a timely matter anyways. If you ask him a question or for help, you will never be right or ever get a clear answer. Did I mention he is boring, unethical, biased, detached and a flat-out jack*ss? Well he is. After this semester's evaluations, they had better darn well fire his *ss or something is seriously wrong with this school. So much for a good GPA...
