Geology to me is one of the most boring possibly subject matters, but honestly Rex makes it much more interesting. He is an awesome guy and an excellent teacher. The only problem is his tests are insanely hard, but one piece of advice, look over your test many times he will give you an answer or two on the test somewhere else in the test. But overall he asks some very very specific questions that you need to be ready for. He is very prepared and gives you a great study guide, you just dont realize how overally specif he wants his answers. Overall if your a geology major you defiantly need to take Rex, and if you are not a geology major you should also take him because he is nice, funny, and makes class interesting, just make sure you study extra.

Dr. Hanger was one of, if not the best, proffessors I've had here at UW-Whitewater. I would suggest him to any student at any academic grade standing to take his class. He was a lot of fun.

Rex is one of the most knowledgeable professors that I have ever had. He really knows his stuff, and he's excited about it, which makes you want to be excited about it, too. His fascinating facts and sense of humor are great. He's down to earth, and really cares about his students. You might have to work in his class, but it's worth it. You'll learn a lot. I promise.
