Dr Yasko is retired. He gave me a A grade on my book review, which book assign became one favorite book of all times. However, during office visit he throw my exams in the air and told me thisis complete s#@$. He was hard grade, but if put the work in you would do well.
kinda hard, but worth the effort. he's always willing to help and he likes to make the class interesting, he just doesn't always get the chance to. his night classes are usually video and discussion. very interesting guy because of his life experiences. he is hard though, don't go into his class unprepared

Unfortunately, I didn't learn my lesson the first time around, and took a second class with him. Both, big mistakes! Fortunately both of the classes revolved around Asian history, which is the only reason why I passed. He is biased in his teachings, he favors Japan over other Asian countries, which is fine, but STAY OBJECTIVE IN THE CLASSROOM! Also the stuff he makes you study for on tests are useless. Nobody gives a crap about some of the stuff he tests on. I even called my grandparents once to ask about something I was studying for, and they didn't even get what I was talking about, and they live in China! When you are Asian, and you get a B in an Asian Studies class...that's really when you take a moment and say WTF?????
