I rated Professor Oehling as an A due to the drive he has in seeing each student succeed. He goes out of his way to be there for each student, no matter what the needs of the individual. Show up to class, stay on top of the reading, and do the papers that he asks for and you will get an A. If you need help, Ask!!! He is there for you.

THis guy is the coolest ever!!! He is so nice and really loves what he does. I have loved havign him for class anytime I have had him and everyone who reads this should try to take him!

Oeling is seriously my favorite teacher ever. I took him for English 101 and wanted to take him for 102 but the class filled up. I emailed him and explained I wanted to join his class because I enjoyed it so much first semester and he opened up a spot for me. He is the best teacher. I've heard 102 is the worst and he has made it incredibly enjoyable. He made our reasearch paper a choice of three different types and therefore was really easy to do. He has dropped several papers he had planned for us to write and decided to do more interesting things. Between both semesters we have watched approximately four full movies and then written a one page paper on them. He is so much fun and is absolutely hilarious. He also calls in sick often. The only downside is, if you like to recieve work back right away, he isnt your man. It usually takes him a few weeks at least to grade papers, but he always gives very detailed responses and great notes. He is always willing to help students and usually ends class a few minutes early so people can talk to him and ask questions if needed. If you looking for a great English teacher and hate english, he will make you love it by the time your done!

Rick is an awesome English teacher. He cares about his students and uses his knowledge, of almost everything, to help you out in any way he can. He is an easy going guy and it's impossible not to like him.

Prof. Oehling was a pretty sweet professor. I had him every friday for 2 1/2 hrs so classes did get a little long. He was pretty funny and a very easy grader. You watch some pretty cool movies too but you have to write a paper every week which sucked after a while.. EASY A!!! Take him
