Dr. Bryan will NOT get to know you. One day, he sat in his office and forgot to come to class. My programming group went to find him to seek outside assistance, he told us he would cover our questions "in class", which he had already missed. Upon realizing this, he told us to go wait in the computer lab. We did so, then waited for him for half an hour. We later discovered he'd snuck past us in the lab to go help other students. Upon asking him for individual assistance later, he refused to give any. One of my partners managed to teach himself more by skipping class and reading the book than I learned by sitting through the lectures.

Dr. Bryan is the laziest man to ever earn a PhD. This being said, all of the problems i had in Bob's class stemmed from is lack of effort as a teacher and decision to isolate himself from the students. By disconnecting his campus email he definitely sends the message to the students that he just doesnt care.

Robert Bryan is a worthless putrid rotting pile of dog vomit. And that comes from one of the few students who actually passed his class. He has no teaching skill whatsoever. He speaks in a constant monotone, he doesn't check his email, he is unresponsive to student input, he does not explain any topics that he 'attempts' to teach. If you value your GPA, avoid Robert Bryan like the plague. If you are forced into taking a class with him, when its time to give a teacher evaluation, and you can write in a short paragraph about how the teacher can improve, I suggest putting in 'Retire'.

Dr. Bryon simply doesn't care. Here is a computer science professor... who doesn't use email. I don't understand this at all. He makes no effort to communicate with his students. His tests are confusing and poorly written. At every single test I've had in his class, he's had to make multiple corrections because he probably didn't proofread his own work. This is a lazy man, who compensates his lack of teaching ability with a ginormous grading curve to try and appease the students who have the misfortune of taking his class. His lectures are possibly the most boring lectures I've ever had the displeasure of sitting through. It's astounding. Furthermore, his lectures are also poorly organized. Several times, he re-covered material that had been covered last week, as if we hadn't covered them in the first place. Truely, I think this is the first class that I can say I haven't learned anything at all, let alone anything useful. Heed the warnings on this website. Robert Bryan is a man who cares not a whit for his students. Avoid his class at all costs if you want to learn anything.
