Robert Schramm

Easy Class, had him for an online class. Had to write a few easy papers, take a quiz once a week, and discuss online a couple times a week. It did take a little bit of time to make sure you discussed at least twice a week, but super super easy! The quizzes were pretty easy too. Easy grader on papers.

I had Dr. Schramm for a grad level course called Business & Professional Communications. I wish I could get my time and money back. Worst class I have ever taken and of course it is a required class for the MBA program. The text book was like something I had in high school, the subject matter lacked creativity and his grading was based entirely on format and not subject matter. I could have written "Dr. Schramm is an idiot" through my entire final paper and as long as it was the correct format I would have gotten an "A". I know it sounds easy, but at the grad level I am not interested in paying all this money for something I learned as a sophomore in high school. Total waste of time.

Dr. Schramm's methods of teaching making it very difficult to understand what is actually being expected of students. Furthermore, while he is always available to help the students, his responses to questions do not bring much clarification to an already ambiguous assignment. While I find it a positive to have brief weekly quizes and no actual exams or papers in this class, he is not a professor I would recommend. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the education I am receiving from him as I feel it has no application to me, when in fact, it should. Additionally, I am taking this class with him at the graduate level online, and it is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an online class, and I have had many classes online through my undergraduate and graduate work.

This class is simple and to the point and is easy if you put the slightest bit of effort toward it. Don't believe the others who tell you it's challenging. all you have to do are little one page journals that take 10 min., 2 final projects, and you learn a lot about the campus. there's no book and he's always willing to help.

Post stuff on D2L but then says he wants more after he grades your paper.. when he had no specifics on D2L.. like he would say three things that are important at college... and that doesnt specify weather to write a paper on it or just list them......
