She is a good teacher and is very nice. The assingments for speech were not bad, but the tests were harder....

I was horrified at the thought of taking a speech class. But it's not only a speech class, it's about communication, too, and you'll learn a lot from Young. She actually eased my fears of speaking in front of more than five people. You only have to give 4 speeches and one is a group speech. If you follow her suggestions for formatting your speech, turn in your outline, and DON'T run over your time limit (otherwise she'll make you stop without finishing and you'll look really stupid) you'll do fine. Her exams are easy. It's all from the notes in class, so just pay attention. Sure, during the speeches I sweat like a person with a paper asshole in a forest fire and the whole cotton mouth thing set in, but she's understanding and I got an A in the class. Take Young, she rocks!
