This professor is too hard for a freshman level class. I took 141 online and she basically did nothing but grade our assignments. The assignments were graded arbitrarily without a rubric or anything. The exams had unfair questions and were overly hard. She was very mean. Don't take her unless you have to. If you do get stuck with her, be prepared to work your butt off.

Honestly, I think her lectures are really interesting, and fun to learn about. However, I spent so much time preparing and studying for her tests that it just got discouraging near the end. Which is right now actually. She is a nice person in class, when you speak up she isn't condescending or anything. I just think her expectations are a little unclear, and it seems no matter how much I try to fit into my papers and tests it is never enough. I have actually broken down a few times after getting my tests or papers back, just because I really thought I did better than the last, but just got the same old C time after time. So I give this teacher... eh a C.

She sits on her desk the whole time kicking her feet, very boring to watch which makes her very hard to pay attention to. Her expectations are VERY hard to understand. She changes her mind day to day what is good and what is bad. She held study sessions for the midterm and things that we discussed in the sessions, i put in my essay exam. She said that my answers were wrong. She is the most round about lecture oriented teacher i have ever had. If you have the choice do not take a class with her. I am not over-reacting. My whole class is basically getting a C or worse. Professors like her need to stop putting the blame on the students for "not learning" and TEACH! Actually she should not even be teaching.

She does not care about her students at all, do not take her.

I took her online class and as an upper lever student in a 200 level course I thought I would breeze through it. But I was completely wrong. She makes you work with this online website doing 10-20 mini quizzes a week, makes you write papers, and take quizzes AND post at least five times every week on a discussion board. She gives you criteria for the papers but it's never enough. She even told my class that she expected the class average of the quizzes to be a D. Clearly that means you're not doing your job as a professor.
