I don't know how this guy has good reviews, but this guy gives out tests and looong assignments that have nothing to do with what he teaches and then just rips them apart. No one had a clue what was going on in the class but that didn't stop him from handing out impossible assignments.

He truly is a good guy and somewhat interesting. Its just that he teaches with such intensity he often gets off track and the student gets lost. I like him as a person but I would try not to take him as a professor again. Just to confusing.

Dougan is a great professor. He is extremely understanding toward all of his students and will help you out no matter what. His tests are pretty hard, but he weighs the tests so your highest grade is worth more than your lowest grade. Take him for any class that you can.

Not clear at all what is expected out of assignments and then rips them apart if its not what he wants. Needless to say he rips EVERYONES assigments and papers apart.

He is very entusiastic and fun, but his tests are outrageously tough. If you want a good grade be prepared to study a ton.
