William Mickelson

Mickelson is a good teacher, not great, but good. only had 4 tests w/ no final or midterm, lots of time to do homework assignments, he answers e-mails quickly and will help you whenever you need it even if its not during his office hours, he always had a smile on and tried to make everyone laugh with cheesy jokes, he's kind of nerdy but i enjoyed his class alot and it wasn't overly difficult, hes not the best at teaching the subject matter to the whole class which is not a good thing, but is great when just showing one person what to do.

He is simply the man

Professor Mickelson is a good teacher. He is always available for help outside of class, all you have to do is ask. However, he may not be the best at answering questions. He always tries to engage the class and tries to lighted up the mood with corny jokes. I laugh pretty much every time though because of his goofy smile and laugh. His tests are not hard at all and he covers all of the information in class that you need. He also says that he takes attendance randomly, which he did for like 2 weeks, but he never does after that. Overall I would recommend him if your looking for a math class that you don't always have to show up to and is not that hard. Oh and all of the material is covered right out of the book, and he gives a ton of time to do the homework which doesn't take that long.

Such a good teacher. No Final or Mid-Term. He gives 8 assignments worth 40 total points. 4 100pt tests and takes attendance to count toward your grade. Learned Alot and an easy A. TAKE HIM...DO IT...GREAT TEACHER.

He was confusing at times and I felt like I had to reteach myself things that he went over in class. I often felt like he put things on the exams that he hadn't gone over in class. He gave assignments and then near the end of the semester mentioned that they wouldn't count towards our grade. Only gave 4 exams. Overall he is a good professor and if you pay attention in class and ask questions when you don't understand you will do well.
